Cuba demanded that the United States government end the illegal detention of the legitimate President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, and his wife Celia Flores, and respect their immunity.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said today, Sunday, in a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Eight days have passed since the brutal kidnapping operation of the legitimate President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, and his wife Celia Flores,” calling for an end to this illegal detention, respecting their immunity, stopping the judicial and media circus that this trial has become, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
He also called on the international community to join this just demand to enforce international law, protect the life of President Maduro and his wife, and achieve justice and rights for them.
