Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras affirmed that the US actions in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela constitute a brutal aggression and a violation of the sovereignty of a sovereign state, as well as the unjust and brutal abduction of the president of an independent state and his wife.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Abu Ras considered the US abduction of a head of state a dangerous precedent in the history of international relations, reflecting the level of arrogance and disregard for all international norms, conventions, and laws that the US has reached.
He pointed out that the United States proves day after day that it represents a real threat to international peace and security through its aggressive policies and continuous interference in the affairs of other countries.
The Deputy Foreign Minister called on the international community, the United Nations, and all freedom-loving people worldwide to condemn the brutal US aggression, deter the United States from its transgressions, uphold international law, and protect the sovereignty, stability, and territorial integrity of nations.
