Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Abdulwahid Aburas condemned the visit made Tuesday by the so-called foreign minister of the Zionist enemy entity to the Somali city of Hargeisa.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Aburas described the Zionist visit as a flagrant breach of international law , a blatant violation of Somalia’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
He stressed that this step falls within the framework of completing the Zionist plan aimed at turning the Somaliland region into a foothold for hostile activities by the Zionist entity against Somalia and the countries of the region, undermining regional security and stability and posing a direct threat to the security of the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and international navigation.
Aburas noted that any presence of the Zionist enemy entity on Somali territory constitutes a red line, affirming that alliance with this entity will bring nothing but disgrace , loss to those who pursue it, and will neither achieve stability nor resolve internal crises, but rather exacerbate and further complicate them.
He called on Red Sea littoral states, as well as all Arab and Islamic countries, to coordinate jointly and take a firm stand against Zionist schemes that have become clearly evident , target the security and stability of the entire region.
The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated Yemen’s steadfast position in support of the Somali people and Somalia’s security , stability, and affirmed that any Israeli presence in the Somaliland region will be considered a military target for the Yemeni Armed Forces.
