Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, praised the positive and responsible approach of the Iranian government regarding the ongoing events in the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that this approach reflects the Iranian leadership’s commitment to the country’s security , stability and its determination to thwart Iran’s enemies.
In a statement to the Yemen News Agency (SABA), Abu Ras explained that the awareness of the Iranian people is the rock on which all conspiracies shatter. He expressed his strong confidence in the deep understanding of the people regarding the scale of plots orchestrated against them by their enemies, who are constantly scheming to destabilize the country and spread chaos, similar to what they have done in many countries across the region.
He pointed out that those who claim to care about the safety of the Iranian people are the same who waged an unjust 12-day war against Iran and imposed unfair sanctions for decades in a failed attempt to subjugate the nation and break its will.
The Deputy Foreign Minister affirmed that the United States and the Israeli enemy entity are attempting, through stirring internal unrest in Iran, to achieve what they have failed to accomplish through military force, siege policies, and sanctions—efforts that are destined to fail.
He also mocked the threats of the criminal Trump against Iran, noting that he should first heed the voice of the American people, who are protesting the killing of a citizen by an immigration and customs officer in Minneapolis, rather than issuing threats against free nations and blatantly interfering in their internal affairs.
Abu Ras concluded his statement by expressing full confidence that Iran—its leadership, government, and people—will overcome these conspiracies as it has overcome previous ones, thanks to the wisdom of its leadership, the awareness of its people, and the justice of its cause.
