Dozens of Moroccans participate in protest in front of Parliament in support of Gaza

Dozens of Moroccans participated in a protest on Friday in support of the Gaza Strip and in condemnation of Israeli practices against the Palestinian people.

The protesters gathered in front of the parliament building in the capital, Rabat, at the invitation of the “Action Group for Palestine,” according to Anadolu Agency.

The participants denounced the siege imposed on Gaza, which is exacerbating the social and humanitarian crisis in the Strip.

They chanted slogans such as, “Fight, O fighter, for freedom, against starvation,” “Who are we? What do we want? Down with normalization,” “By Allah’s covenant, we will not betray… Al-Aqsa is in our hearts,” and “The gate of Al-Aqsa is made of iron… Only a martyr can open it.”

They also raised banners supporting Palestinian factions, such as: “The Moroccan people stand with the unity of the nation against aggression, with the resistance until liberation and the end of normalization,” and “In loyalty to the martyred leader Mohammed Deif and his fellow leaders.”

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10th, following a two-year-long Zionist war of genocide. However, the Israeli enemy army continues to violate the agreement daily and still prevents the entry of most humanitarian aid into the Strip.
