Hezbollah hailed, in a statement, the million-strong marches held across various regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of the Islamic system and national stability.
“These marches clearly expressed the true will of the Iranian people, who stand united behind the leadership of the Islamic Republic, foremost among them the Leader, His Eminence Imam Khamenei, along with the government and all state institutions.”
Hezbollah affirmed that Iran is an independent and sovereign state whose people freely chose their political system, laws, and constitution. It added that since the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Iran has faced continuous US-backed global aggression aimed at undermining this ethical, popular, Islamic, and independent model.
“Despite the economic pressures caused by sanctions and aggression, Iran remains steadfast, continues to develop its capabilities in various fields, and works to serve its people within a system based on free and fair elections,” the statement said. “It also guarantees the people’s right to peaceful protest and freedom of expression. However, the United States persists in attempts to destabilize Iran internally, using the Zionist entity as a tool of violence, chaos, and crime in an effort to overthrow the popular Iranian system.”
The statement added that images and evidence have shown that U.S. and Israeli agents exploit small groups to infiltrate demonstrations and turn them into acts of sabotage, including the burning of mosques, government buildings, and security facilities, as well as the destruction of public property. It stressed that “these criminal acts have no connection to legitimate social demands or the right to protest.”
Hezbollah concluded by reaffirming its full support for the choice of the Iranian people and their leadership, stressing that the Islamic Republic of Iran will remain strong, steadfast, and independent by the will of Almighty Allah.
