Human Rights Center: Israeli targeting of education in Gaza part of systematic genocide

The Palestinian Center for Human Rights reported today, Saturday, that the Israeli enemy has targeted education in Gaza as part of a systematic genocide, by destroying schools and universities, imposing forced displacement, and creating a constant environment of fear that prevents Palestinian female students from accessing their right to education.

In a post on the X platform, the center told the Yemen News Agency (SABA): “The impact of this crime goes beyond the ceasefire moment, extending to the future of women, by disrupting their educational paths, deepening economic , social marginalization, depriving an entire generation of their right to knowledge and to be a productive and active part of their society.”

The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip came into effect on October 10, following a two-year continuous Israeli genocidal war. However, the Israeli army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement and still prevents most humanitarian aid from entering the Gaza Strip.
