Indonesian Authorities search for missing plane with 11 onboard

Indonesian authorities are searching for a maritime surveillance ATR 42-500 aircraft that went missing Saturday with 11 people aboard.

The plane lost contact near Maros in South Sulawesi while en route from Yogyakarta to Makassar. It carried three passengers and eight crew members.

Around 400 personnel, including military units, have been deployed, but poor weather is slowing the search. Authorities suspect the plane went down near Mount Bulusaraung.
