The police apparatus in Lorestan Province, western Iran, announced the detention of 100 rioters and elements disturbing security in a number of the province’s cities.
The Iranian “Tasnim” agency reported, citing the police apparatus, that the process of detaining these rioters was carried out after identifying them through investigations conducted by the apparatus in Lorestan.
The police apparatus stated that its forces dismantled, over the past few days, two terrorist cells consisting of 4 and 7 terrorists in the cities of Borujerd and Khorramabad in Lorestan after identifying them.
It reported that “the terrorists were equipped with various types of firearms and cold weapons and were intending to carry out chaos operations and killings in the province and blame the security forces.”
