The Israeli occupation military announced early Monday that it had launched a large-scale military operation in the Jabal Johar neighborhood of Hebron, in the southern West Bank, saying the operation would continue for several days.
According to media reports, the occupation forces entered the city and launched the operation, which the army and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said is aimed at “ongoing security efforts to apprehend wanted individuals and seize weapons.”
A joint statement from the occupation army and Shin Bet said the operation involves multiple military and security units.
No details have been made available regarding casualties or arrests.
