Lebanese Citizen Killed in Israeli Drone Strike in Southern Lebanon

A person was killed this morning, Wednesday, in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the vicinity of the town of Zahrani in southern Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

According to NNA, “an enemy drone targeted a car on the Zahrani – Al-Masilah road, and ambulances rushed to the site of the attack.”

Last night, the agency monitored Israeli drone flights over the towns of Al-Kharayeb and Adloun in the Sidon district in southern Lebanon, in addition to the occupation army carrying out a demolition operation on Jabal Al-Hamamss.

Intensive low-altitude drone flights by Israeli forces were also reported over the towns and villages of the Zahrani district.

Artillery shelling with a caliber of 155 mm targeted the “Harmoun” area southwest of the town of Yaroun in the Bent Jbeil district, originating from Israeli military positions in “Dishing”; according to the Lebanese agency.

Israeli occupation forces continue their daily attacks on Lebanon. The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has recorded more than 10,000 Israeli violations since the announcement of the ceasefire agreement on November 27, 2024.
