The Ministry of Interior honored the family of Quranic Martyr Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi with a Shield of Loyalty and Appreciation on the anniversary of his martyrdom.
During his visit to the martyr’s family and meeting with his son, Major General Ali Hussein al-Houthi, Deputy Interior Minister Major General Abdul-Majid al-Murtada praised the Quranic martyr’s life, highlighting his defense of the nation’s vital causes, support for the oppressed, and resistance to tyranny and global arrogance.
He noted that the Quranic martyr’s approach to confronting injustice and oppression is today reflected in the fight against aggression, the pursuit of freedom and dignity, and the rejection of tutelage.
Major General al-Murtada described the anniversary as a key moment to reflect on the martyr’s life and reaffirm commitment to his Quranic path, emphasizing that his legacy remains deeply rooted in the nation’s consciousness, embodying pride, dignity, and resilience in facing adversaries.
He presented the Shield of Loyalty and Appreciation to the martyr’s family in recognition of his contributions, including promoting Quranic culture, resisting forces of arrogance, supporting the nation’s causes, and making enduring sacrifices remembered by all free people.
