Colombian President Gustavo Pedro called on citizens Wednesday to take to the streets to defend national sovereignty.
In a post on X platform, Pedro said, “I will see you at 4:00 PM today (9:00 PM GMT) in all public squares across the country.”
He added, “Let’s join the president in defending national sovereignty.”
US President Donald Trump had previously issued threats against several leaders, including the Colombian president, following the abduction of Venezuelan President Maduro by US forces.
