The Palestinian Prisoners’ Media Office confirmed on Sunday that the number of arrests and detentions of Palestinian journalists and media professionals has reached 220 since October 7, 2023.
The office explained in a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that two journalists, Nidal al-Wahidi and Haitham Abdul-Wahid, both from the Gaza Strip, remain forcibly disappeared without any information about their fate.
