Since 1770: Unraveling the “Satanic Conspiracy” That Made Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi a Target

Today, as Yemen commemorates the martyrdom of the leader, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, a specific set of questions is posed: Why did the United States and the Israeli enemy fear this man? Why was he targeted with such ferocity if his work was merely delivering religious lectures? Who was he, and what was the secret behind his persecution?

The answers provided form a comprehensive and provocative narrative that frames Yemen’s struggle not as a local Yemeni conflict, but as the frontline in a centuries-old cosmic war.

The Historical Roots: A Zionist Conspiracy Since 1770

The narrative begins with a sweeping historical report: since approximately 1770, humanity has been subjected to a “sinister, satanic conspiracy” by the “Global Zionist Organization.” This conspiracy engineered social reconstruction through revolutionary theories and political movements, leading to a rapid decay of social fabric and a deviation from the natural laws ( sunan ) upon which God created mankind.

The primary obstacle to this grand scheme was the Islamic nation—the chosen vessel for divine principles. Thus, the conspirators set about fragmenting it early on through divisive projects and movements that gnawed at the body of the Muslim world until it reached a state of weakness and silence, even adapting to and accepting the corrupt changes.

Divine Intervention: The “Blessed Muhammadan Line” as God’s Answer

Yet, God’s promise to complete His light prevails. In this theology, God preserved His light within the “Blessed Muhammadan Line,” the progeny of the Prophet’s Household ( Ahl al-Bayt ). A manifestation of this divine planning was the “selection, upbringing, and guardianship” of a man from this lineage: Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi.

His selection was divinely orchestrated, marked by key signs:

His birth in the conservative, faith-strong rural area of Maran in Sa’ada, Yemen.

His lineage from the pious and scrupulous scholar, Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

His upbringing in an environment steeped in religious knowledge, piety, and the Quran.

The personal qualities bestowed upon him: courage, wisdom, sincere faith, and an intimate connection with the Book of God.

The Project’s Launch and the “Satanic Lobby’s” Panic

In 2002, as God willed the “remaining spark of light” within the Islamic nation to spread, Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi launched the “Quranic Project.” Influenced by global changes, its aim was to correct the course of the Muslim world, realigning it with the divine laws of human nature.

He began by activating true knowledge of God and trust in Him to treat the nation’s malaise, recharging its foundations with reliance on God and returning it to its divinely appointed duties. He taught the nation how to be guided by the Quran and activated the core issues central to Islamic strength and solidity.

When the “Global Satanic Lobby” felt the impact of this project—a project that exposed and unveiled the truth of all their schemes and restored to the nation a consciousness they feared—it panicked. Seeing its centuries-old plots disintegrating, it mobilized all its agents and forces for war against this project. The martyrdom of Sayyed Hussein al-Houthi is thus framed not as an assassination but as a sacrificial sealing of his mission with blood, marking “the beginning of the appointed time for the completion of God’s light.”

Conclusion: The Call to Continuity

The commemoration, therefore, is not merely an act of remembrance but a vital station for renewing commitment. It is a reminder of God’s grace in protecting the faithful from the “Jewish plot” through the light inspired by the “Martyr of the Quran.” The duty of the living is to praise God through word and deed, by clinging to Quranic guidance and continuing the march behind the current leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the “best successor to the best predecessor.”
