U.S. Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders emphasized that the United States has the strongest military in the world and could control other countries and plunder their resources, but the American people do not want that.
Sanders said today, Tuesday, in a post on the platform “X,” monitored by the Yemen News Agency (SABA): “Yes, we have the strongest army in the world. We can control other countries and plunder their resources. But is this the imperialist state the American people want? I don’t think so.”
He pointed out that popular aspirations differ from the military and economic policies pursued by U.S. administrations.
