United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced the launch of the second round of its catch-up immunization campaign for children under three years old on Sunday in the Gaza Strip.
The agency stated in a post on its X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Children have missed essential doses for more than two years due to the war.”
It explained that, in cooperation with the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and other partners, UNRWA is continuing the immunization campaign through 35 health teams deployed across 23 health centers and mobile units.
It confirmed that the campaign will continue for 10 days to contribute to strengthening children’s immunity.
