US Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders called on Friday for resistance against the tyranny of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Sanders said in a post on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “ICE is taking over neighborhoods and shooting Americans.”
He added: “And now, Don Lemon, a former CNN anchor, has been arrested for covering ICE activities.”
He emphasized that the arrest of journalists is common in dictatorial regimes, calling for resistance against tyranny.
