Araqchi Holds Talks with Omani Foreign Minister on Eve of Iranian-American Negotiations

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi held talks last night with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi in Geneva on the eve of the third round of Iranian-American nuclear negotiations scheduled to be held later today, Thursday.

Araqchi said in a brief post on his channel on the “Telegram” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that upon his arrival in Geneva, and a few hours before the third round of nuclear talks, he met with the Omani Foreign Minister, the mediator of the indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington, and held talks with him.

With Omani mediation, Geneva is hosting the third round of indirect Iranian-American negotiations later today, Thursday, following two rounds of talks, the first hosted by the Omani capital Muscat on February 6, and the second in Geneva on the 17th of the same month.
