Eight Palestinian patients and their companions departed the Gaza Strip to receive medical treatment abroad, authorities said on Tuesday.
In a statement, Gaza’s Interior Ministry said that 12 Palestinians, nine women and three children, arrived in the Strip late on Monday.
“They were provided with immediate assistance and their arrival procedures were completed,” the ministry said.
Israeli occupation forces reopened the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza on Monday morning after it had been fully closed for nearly 20 months amid the occupation of the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
