European Commissioner for Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib condemned repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire, which left hundreds of Palestinians killed or injured over the weekend.
She stressed the need to respect international humanitarian law and protect civilians at all times. Despite the ceasefire taking effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli army continues daily violations and restricts most humanitarian aid into Gaza.
