Foreign Ministry Discusses Strengthening Ties, Humanitarian Coordination with Islamic Relief

The Undersecretary for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail al-Mutawakel, met on Sunday with the Resident Representative of Islamic Relief Worldwide, Siddiq Khan, to discuss enhancing joint cooperation and coordinating humanitarian efforts.

The meeting reviewed existing partnerships and explored ways to develop developmental and relief programs to better respond to urgent humanitarian needs across various governorates.

During the talks, Al-Mutawakel praised the organization’s role in alleviating the suffering of citizens, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to providing all necessary facilities to ensure the success of international organizations’ projects.

For his part, the Islamic Relief representative appreciated the ongoing cooperation, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to continuing its relief missions to support the most vulnerable groups.
