United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres affirmed on Wednesday that human rights are being violated around the world deliberately, strategically, and sometimes with pride.
Guterres stated in a post on X, as reported by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA): “We cannot allow power to set new rules in which the vulnerable have no rights and the authorities of the strong run unchecked.”
He emphasized the need to “change course and make human dignity the guiding principle.”
