Maqdoud Mardawi, a leader in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), affirmed on Monday that the movement has not been informed by mediators of any specific deadline to disarm the resistance.
Mardawi told Al Jazeera: “We have not received any notification from mediators regarding a deadline to disarm the resistance in the Gaza Strip.”
He also stressed that “the ongoing violations by the Israeli enemy in Gaza and the occupied West Bank are part of a plan for the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.”
