Iran: 165 Weapons Seized in Various Border Regions

The commander of the Iranian Border Guard, Brigadier General Ali Akbar Javidan, announced on Saturday the seizure of 165 weapons last week during the implementation of a plan to combat arms smuggling operations in various border regions of the country.

 

During an inspection visit to military barracks along the western border of Iran, Brigadier General Javidan stated that the Border Guard forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s borders, according to the official Iranian news agency.
