The Commander of Iran’s Internal Security Forces, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Radan, stated today that enemies have relied on hybrid warfare and phased planning to target the Islamic Republic.
During a ceremony honoring the Commander of the Border Guard in the Internal Security Forces, Radan explained that the Americans and the Zionists entered the arena with a strategy of “from war to chaos” and “from chaos to war,” but they have suffered defeat. He emphasized that if the enemies make any miscalculations, they will face a response that will induce great regret, according to the Iranian news agency IRNA.
He added that the Iranian regime has loyal defenders ready to sacrifice their lives for the homeland, which led to a humiliating defeat for the enemies during the recent unrest. He also noted that the fight against internal agents of the enemy continues without pause.
Radan stressed the need to enhance interaction with neighboring countries, deepen partnerships with border region residents, and expand cooperation among military and civilian institutions, including the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
For his part, the Commander of the Border Guard, Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Koudarzi, pointed to the movements of groups opposed to the Islamic Revolution and the intelligence and military support they receive from foreign entities.
He indicated that these groups have carried out between 550 and 600 attacks against the Border Guard forces in Sistan and Baluchestan province alone (southeast of the country); however, thanks to God, they have not been able to seize any border center, even for a few minutes.
