The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affirmed on Monday that the pure blood of the martyrs from the recent unrest is evidence of the Iranian people’s oppression , exposes the planners of violence and terrorism, sending a message about the necessity of constant vigilance in confronting the complex future scenarios of the “evil US-Zionist front.”
In a statement reported by the Iranian Fars news agency, the IRGC described the 40-day commemoration of the martyrs of the January 8–9, 2026 events as a strategic milestone in the “war of wills” and a reaffirmation of the Iranian people’s resistance against the major and complex US-Zionist sedition, which aimed to destabilize the country, pave the way for foreign aggression, and collapse the Islamic system in Iran.
The statement explained that “the events were designed in the style of hybrid warfare, led by the Zionist Mossad and the US Central Intelligence Agency, through spreading terror, destroying infrastructure, killings, and psychological warfare.”
The IRGC emphasized that the vigilance of state institutions and the responsible presence of the Iranian people thwarted the conspiracy, noting that national solidarity , strengthened social cohesion will continue to foil future threats , the schemes of the American and Zionist enemies.
