The High Court in London ruled on Friday that the British government’s decision to ban the pro-Palestinian organization Palestine Action was unlawful, following a legal challenge filed by one of its founders. British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said she intends to appeal the ruling to the Court of Appeal.
The High Court upheld two grounds of appeal, with Justice Victoria Sharp stating that “the ban constituted a serious violation of the rights to freedom of expression and freedom of assembly,” according to Al Jazeera Net.
