The Iranian Air Force announced on Friday that one of its training planes crashed during a night training mission in Hamadan province, western Iran, on Thursday evening. One pilot was killed, while the other survived.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Hamzeh Emraei, the deputy governor of Hamadan for political and security affairs, as saying that rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the crash site in the Nobaran area, located between Hamadan and Markazi provinces.
