Omani Foreign Minister: Iranian-American talks contributed to clarifying both sides’ views

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi said that the Iranian-American talks held on Friday in Muscat contributed to clarifying the views of both sides.

Al-Busaidi added in a post on his account on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Extremely serious talks were held today in Muscat between Iran and the United States to mediate this issue. It was useful to clarify both the Iranian and American viewpoints and identify areas of possible progress.”

He continued: “We intend to hold another meeting at an appropriate time, the results of which will be studied carefully in Tehran and Washington.”

Today, indirect negotiations mediated by Oman took place in the Omani capital, Muscat, between the Iranian side headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and the American side headed by the envoy, Steve Wittkof.
