Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán accused Ukraine and its president on Monday of interfering in Hungary’s elections, calling on them to stop.
Orbán said in a post on X, as reported by the Saba News Agency, that “the Ukrainians are deeply involved in the Hungarian election campaign,” explaining that they “fund our opponents in line with their personal interests.”
He emphasized that Hungary alone decides its future, urging Kyiv to end its interference, saying: “Stop meddling; Hungary must determine its own future.”
