Orbán: We reject European United States, will prioritize Hungarian interests

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Tuesday that the residents of Brussels are seeking to build a centralized empire, in an attempt to move away from the idea of a sovereign Europe, warning of the repercussions of a central system on member states.

Orbán explained in a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that this trend means less support for farmers, a decline in the number of small businesses, no reductions in service prices, along with granting more power to foreign multinational corporations.

The Hungarian Prime Minister confirmed his country’s rejection of what he called the European United States that is being promoted, stressing that his government will continue to prioritize the interests of Hungarians
