Pakistan: Two Soldiers and Five Militants Killed in Attack in South

The Pakistani army announced on Saturday that two soldiers and five militants were killed in an attack in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, in the south of the country.

 

A statement from the army’s public relations department said that a group of militants targeted a security forces convoy while they were conducting an operation based on intelligence indicating the presence of terrorists, including a suicide bomber.
