A Palestinian child was killed and two others were injured in the town of Jiftlik in the central Jordan Valley of the occupied West Bank when an object left behind by the Israeli army exploded.
The mayor of Jiftlik, Ahmed Ghawanmeh, told the Palestinian News Agency WAFA that two Palestinian children from Jiftlik were injured when an unexploded ordnance left behind by Israeli forces detonated in the area of Furush Beit Dajan, killing one and seriously injuring the other two.
