The Palestinian Prisoners Club condemned on Monday the Israeli enemy’s arrest of Wafa Abu Ghalmi, wife of imprisoned commander Ahed Abu Ghalmi, from her home in Ramallah. This arrest was part of a wide-scale arrest campaign carried out by the enemy army in the occupied West Bank, which targeted 20 Palestinians, including a young woman and two children.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the club explained that targeting Abu Ghalmi comes within the framework of a broader campaign targeting women and girls since the beginning of the Zionist genocide in the Gaza Strip. The number of women arrested in the West Bank has reached approximately 675, in addition to dozens from Gaza, including wives and sisters of prisoners.
