Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian announced on Sunday that the recent negotiations with America carry encouraging indicators, affirming Iran’s readiness for any scenario.
Pezeshkian said in a post on the “X” platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): “Iran is committed to peace and stability in the region, and the recent negotiations have resulted in the exchange of practical proposals and have achieved encouraging indicators.”
He added: “Despite that, we continue to closely monitor the United States’ movements, and we have taken all necessary preparations for any scenario.”
The first round of indirect technical negotiations between Tehran and Washington took place in the Omani capital, Muscat, on February 6, while the Swiss city of Geneva hosted the second round on the 17th of the same month.
