The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its armed forces had destroyed a number of Ukrainian aircraft , equipment across several regions and combat fronts.
In a statement seen by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the ministry said: “FPV combat drones belonging to the Zapad group shot down Ukrainian fixed-wing, high-altitude reconnaissance drones in the Kupiansk direction.”
It added that air cover units of the Vostok group eliminated hexacopter drones operated by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The ministry continued that attack-drone operators of the Tsentr group, during a rotation operation, thwarted an advance by Kyiv’s forces in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.
It also explained that drones from the Sever group targeted a quad bike, a trailer loaded with equipment, and an antenna belonging to the Ukrainian armed forces.
In the same context, the ministry reported that the Molniya-2 drone team of the Dnipro group’s airborne unit destroyed a shelter housing Ukrainian troops on the right bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
