A strike called by one of Germany’s largest labor unions has paralyzed public transport across the country, amid a dispute over wages and working conditions.
AFP reported that the transportation difficulties were exacerbated by harsh winter conditions and icy conditions, making alternatives such as walking or cycling more dangerous.
