Yemen Scholars Association has announced its full support and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of escalating American, Israeli, and Western pressure and threats, stressing that these developments come within the framework of targeting the Islamic nation and its independent projects.
In a statement, the association called on scholars across the Islamic world to adopt a clear fraternal and Islamic stance in support of Iran, noting that the current phase requires explicit and responsible positions rather than silence or neutrality, amid growing challenges and conspiracies targeting resistance forces in the region.
The association urged Iran’s leadership and people to remain steadfast and resolute and to reject any concessions to the demands of the US, Israeli enemy, and Western powers, asserting that these parties seek only to subjugate the nation and undermine its sovereignty and independent decision-making.
The statement emphasized the necessity of upholding loyalty to believers and directing hostility clearly toward the nation’s primary enemies, foremost the US and Israeli enemy, warning against attempts to blur positions or dilute the real conflict facing the region.
It further called on the Islamic nation—governments, peoples, and armies—to abandon a “shameful” state of silence and neutrality regarding the pressures facing the nation in general and Iran in particular, arguing that continued silence emboldens major powers to persist in aggressive and expansionist policies.
The association also emphasized the importance of enhancing preparedness and readiness, as well as pursuing public mobilization within the framework of religious responsibility, citing Quranic calls to confront tyranny and defend the nation. It concluded that the unity of the Islamic position represents the main safeguard against projects of domination and aggression.
