Foreign Affairs Ministry condemns Israeli aggression against Iranian diplomats, Lebanese journalists

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the Israeli enemy entity’s targeting of the residence of Iranian diplomats accredited to Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom of several of them.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry affirmed that this heinous aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international law, particularly the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

The Ministry also condemned the Israeli enemy entity’s targeting of correspondents from Al-Mayadeen and Al-Manar channels in a desperate attempt to silence the voice of truth and prevent the reporting of the crimes committed by the entity against Lebanon.

The Ministry pointed out that this aggression against diplomats and journalists reaffirms that the Israeli enemy entity disregards all international norms, conventions, and laws and poses a threat to regional and international security and stability.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the Iranian government, the brotherly Iranian and Lebanese peoples, and the families of the victims of this tragic loss.
