At least three Palestinian citizens were killed, and others were injured on Tuesday in Israeli drone strikes targeting separate areas in the Gaza Strip, the official Palestinian news agency reported.
According to the agency, two citizens were killed, and others were injured in an Israeli drone shelling that targeted an area south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, one citizen was killed, and others were injured in an Israeli bombing targeting a group of civilians in the Telecommunications area in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, two citizens were injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire east of the Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the toll of those killed and injured in the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,285 and 172,028, respectively.
They added that the total number of those killed and injured since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11 has reached 709 and 1,928, respectively. Meanwhile, 756 bodies have also been recovered.
Many victims remain under the rubble and scattered on the roads, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
