IRGC destroys US aircrew accommodation in Al Kharj Air Base, targets 200 personnel

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace commander announced on Tuesday that his forces have struck the accommodation of US pilots and aircrew in Al Kharj air base, Saudi Arabia, using drones and missiles, targeting a gathering of 200 personnel, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported.

In a post on his X account, Brigadier General Majid Mousavi said the attack successfully hit the US aircrew gathering.

“Today, we attacked the accommodation of US pilots and aircrew in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia, using drones and missiles, hitting a gathering of 200 individuals,” he said.

“Now, in addition to the strikes on AWACS, tankers, and fuel depots, there is also a list of casualties and damages among the aircrew in the list of Trump and Hegseth’s losses and damages,” he added.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones
