The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced Sunday that it carried out Wave 97 of the “Honest Promise 4” operation, striking U.S. and Israeli targets in the region in retaliation for attacks on Iran.
The Naval Force used missiles and drones to hit a U.S. command site near Mohammad Al-Ahmad Naval Base in Kuwait and an Israeli ship, King Dao Star, in Jebel Ali Port, UAE, causing significant damage. The operation also targeted an Israeli military industrial area in Beersheba, occupied Palestine.
The Guard warned commercial ships in the Gulf and Sea of Oman to follow safety instructions and ignore false reports. The strikes come in response to an escalation by the U.S. and Israel since February 28, which targeted Iranian civilians and infrastructure.
