Omani Foreign Ministry condemns Israeli attacks on Lebanese territories

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Wednesday, expressed Muscat’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli attacks on the territories of the Lebanese Republic.

In a post on the ministry’s account on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the ministry described these acts as war crimes and a blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, international law, and the United Nations Charter.

The ministry expressed deep concern over the large number of casualties resulting from these brutal attacks.

It called on the international community to take urgent action to deter and stop such attacks and to hold the occupying entity fully accountable.

Less than ten hours after announcing a ceasefire with Iran, Israeli forces launched wide-scale airstrikes on several Lebanese cities and towns, including Beirut, Sidon, and Baalbek, resulting in hundreds of deaths and injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, amid a large influx of casualties to hospitals.
