The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi has congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance nations on their “great victory” in confronting American-Zionist aggression, declaring that the equation of permissibility has been shattered and deterrence has been restored.
In his address Thursday on the latest developments, the leader expressed gratitude for this “great blessing” and extended “warmest congratulations and blessings” to the Islamic Republic of Iran—its leadership, people, and armed forces—as well as to all official institutions in Iran and to all the Islamic nation.
Enemies Fail Despite Targeting Leaders
Despite the scale of the aggression and the crimes committed by the enemies—including the targeting of officials and leaders, foremost among them the “great martyr” Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, along with many other leaders, and the targeting of the Iranian Muslim people across all categories—Sayyed Abdul Malik stated that “the enemies have failed miserably in achieving their objectives.”
The leader highlighted the “great steadfastness” of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the level of leadership, people, armed forces across all formations—foremost among them the Revolutionary Guard—as well as official institutions. He affirmed that “the Islamic system in Iran has remained cohesive across all its institutions,” despite the martyrdom of leaders.
He also praised the cohesion of the armed forces, explaining that their performance in confronting American-Zionist aggression was “highly effective and very strong,” inflicting significant losses on the enemy and ultimately leading, with God’s support and guidance, to failure and defeat.
Regarding the effectiveness of Iranian armed forces’ operations, the leader affirmed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps inflicted “unprecedented” losses on the enemies. American officers and soldiers were forced to flee their military bases, hiding in hotels and in secret, camouflaged locations in occupied Palestine. He noted that the Zionists remained in shelters for most of the time over a period of forty days.
Sayyed Abdul-Malik addressed the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, considering it one of the most important developments in Iran’s significant pressure strategy. He affirmed that this had a “very substantial impact” on the American economic situation and on all those cooperating with America, with effects extending globally. This, he said, also had a very significant impact on the battle, contributing to inflicting heavy losses on the enemies.
The leader considered Iran’s victory a “great and momentous blessing” and a “very significant gain” for the Islamic nation and all free people of the world. He explained that it has “shattered the equation of permissibility” and “restored dignity to this nation,” which has suffered humiliation and degradation at the hands of the Zionist and American enemies—through the confiscation of freedom, attacks on dignity, and the permissibility of everything: blood, honor, land, and holy sites.
He emphasized that “establishing the equation of deterrence and shattering the equation of permissibility is of great importance,” as it advances the great liberation path of the free people of this nation, ultimately helping to achieve the great victory within the framework of God’s truthful promise—the end of the Zionist entity, its demise, and the uprooting of its control from the heart of this nation.
Beyond being a significant gain for the Islamic nation, Sayyed Abdu-Malik noted that this victory also serves as an “important lesson” for the Islamic nation, presenting “a great testament and momentous proof of God’s truthful promise to this nation.” When the nation moves for the sake of God, fulfills its duty, and takes the means of victory, God grants victory, support, guidance, and success.
Regardless of the magnitude of the enemies’ power, their military capabilities, or their global political influence, “the fruit of responding to God, steadfastness, resilience, and taking the means of victory yields such honorable, great results,” he stated.
The leader called upon all countries of this region, all their peoples, and all their regimes and governments “to reconsider their crooked choices and orientations” through which they submit and surrender to the enemies—enemies who are clear and explicit in their hostility to this nation, targeting it in the Levant, Egypt, Iraq, the Arabian Peninsula, and the entire nation.
He noted that the banner under which the enemies operate is “changing the Middle East”—encompassing this entire region in West Asia—as well as establishing “Greater Israel.” He emphasized that it is important for the Islamic nation to benefit from what has been achieved in this important round, to join the axis, to move in this correct direction, to adopt the choice of jihad, and to rise to its great and sacred responsibilities in jihad for the sake of God.
