The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Friday that humanitarian operations in Gaza remain heavily restricted six months after the ceasefire took effect, leaving civilians in severe hardship.
OCHA warned that people across Gaza still face violence risks, displacement, and ongoing destruction, with humanitarian needs worsening.
It noted continued violations of the ceasefire and limited entry of aid, while Gaza’s Health Ministry reported 738 killed and 2,036 injured since the truce began on 10 October last year.
In the West Bank, OCHA said over 580 settler attacks have been recorded since the start of 2026, affecting more than 190 communities, including fatalities.
The UN stressed the need to protect civilians, investigate violations, and ensure accountability under international law.
