Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, a member of the Supreme Political Council, and Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb al-Rahwi have attended an event held today in the capital, Sana’a, commemorating the Martyrdom of Leader Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi

The event was held under the slogan “The Martyr Leader, the Symbol of Our Steadfastness and Victory.”

Dr. bin Habtoor opened his speech by conveying the greetings of the President and members of the Supreme Political Council to the attendees, expressing the collective pride in the martyr leader who founded the Quranic movement, which guided the people of Yemen toward victory.

He explained that the martyr leader’s mission was rooted in Quranic principles, aiming to awaken the people to the dangers posed by Zionist projects, particularly in relation to the ongoing conflict over Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

Dr. bin Habtoor stressed that true change only occurs when nations awaken to the threats they face and remain committed to their religious values and sacred sites.

He also emphasized that the weakening of some Arab leaders allowed foreign powers to further their imperialist agendas, particularly the Zionist project.

For his part, the Prime Minister underscored the importance of the martyr leader’s sacrifice, noting that he laid the foundation for a movement that grew to become a regional and international force.

Al-Rahwi noted that this movement successfully resisted a decade-long international aggression involving some of the most powerful and wealthiest countries in the world.

He affirmed that Yemen, united and reliant on God, has proven its ability to confront challenges, exemplified by the achievements of the Yemeni missile and naval forces.

Al-Rahwi also highlighted Yemen’s continued commitment to supporting the oppressed in Gaza and warned that any escalation by the Israeli enemy would be met with a firm response from the Yemeni people.

In this event, Mr. Dhifallah al-Shami delivered a speech on behalf of Ansarullah political bureau, spoke about the pivotal role the martyr leader played in presenting the Quranic project.

He emphasized that the martyr leader’s work helped liberate the nation from subjugation, urging Yemen and the broader Islamic world to unite against imperialist forces.

Al-Shami praised the martyr leader for his courage in confronting external threats, particularly the Zionist and American plots, with minimal resources.

During the commemoration, scholars from across the Arab world also contributed to the event via video messages, expressing support for the Quranic project initiated by the martyr leader.

Dr. Nour Eddine Abu al-Haya from Algeria, Dr. Wissam Aziz from Iraq, and Dr. Naseeb Hoteit from Lebanon all commended the resistance movements that emerged from the martyr leader’s teachings, which have successfully confronted Zionist and American plans.

The commemoration event concluded with a call for continued vigilance and resistance.

Leaders and participants stressed that the Yemeni people, inspired by the martyr leader’s teachings, remain committed to defending the values of faith, dignity, and independence.

The martyr leader’s legacy continues to inspire the fight against external aggression and the struggle for justice and freedom.
