The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, handed over three Zionist prisoners to the International Red Cross in the Deir al-Balah area in the central Gaza Strip today, Saturday, as part of the fifth batch of the “Free Flood” exchange deal agreed upon under the terms of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Red Cross vehicles arrived to receive the prisoners, as a platform was prepared to complete the handover process in Deir al-Balah, amidst large crowds of Palestinians. A large banner was raised on the platform, on which was written the phrase “We are the flood, we are the next day,” in three languages: Arabic, Hebrew, and English.
The handover ceremony of the three Zionist prisoners began with a speech by a Hamas representative, who announced the start of the implementation of the fifth stage. This was followed by the ascent of two employees from the Red Cross, representing Hamas, to the handover platform, and the document for handing over the prisoners to the Red Cross was signed.
After that, the three Zionist prisoners went up to the platform accompanied by Hamas fighters and greeted the crowds, and the Zionist prisoners made statements in which they called on the enemy government to proceed with the second phase negotiations, and to proceed with the ceasefire negotiations.
After that, the International Red Cross received the three Zionist prisoners, who were transported in three of its vehicles in preparation for their transfer to the Zionist enemy side.
The Qassam Brigades deployed dozens of its members in the city of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Strip, in their military uniforms and weapons.
The Brigades presented a parade of its members, while four-wheel drive vehicles were present, with Qassam members riding on them with machine guns, sniper rifles, and the Yassin 105 launcher.
The Brigades also displayed pictures of its martyred leaders, who the Brigades had previously announced were martyred during battles with the enemy army in the Gaza Strip.
A picture of the enemy’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was placed in the middle of a red triangle, with the words “absolute victory” written on it in Hebrew.
This is the phrase that Netanyahu has always repeated to his audience, and in which he spoke about crushing the resistance and eliminating Hamas, so that the phrase turned into a kind of mockery and ridicule of him.
