Mahdi Al-Mashat, The President of the Supreme Political Council, sent a congratulatory message to President Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The message reads as follows:
“I congratulate Your Excellency on the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, and through you, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to your dear people.
The victory of the Iranian Revolution, led by Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him), is a historic event through which Iran reclaimed its regional and international standing with pride, dignity, sovereignty, and independence. With this victory, the Palestinian cause also regained its significance, thanks to the attention it received from the Islamic Revolution and its exceptional leadership.
While we deeply appreciate your steadfast and unwavering positions on the central cause of the nation and your support for the resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon, we affirm our full solidarity with you in confronting the Zionist-American hegemony, which is vainly attempting to harm the Islamic Republic by imposing unjust sanctions targeting the Iranian people.
Iran, the land of the Revolution, will remain a model for peoples aspiring to freedom and dignity, free from the control of arrogant foreign powers.
As we reiterate our congratulations to Your Excellency, we reaffirm our country’s commitment to strengthening relations between our two nations for the benefit of our peoples and the peoples of our Islamic nation, wishing the Islamic Republic further progress, strength, and prosperity.”
