23 Martyrs Recovered After Zionist Enemy Withdrew From Southern Lebanon

General Directorate of Civil Defense in Lebanon announced yesterday, Tuesday, the recovery of the bodies of 23 martyrs after the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy army from the border towns in southern Lebanon.

The Civil Defense said in a statement that “rescue teams continue, in full coordination with the Lebanese army, the search and comprehensive field survey operations in the areas that were subjected to the Israeli aggression, in implementation of the directives of the Director General of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Nabil Farah.”

He added, “In this context, the specialized teams were able on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, to recover the bodies of 14 martyrs in the town of Mays al-Jabal, 3 martyrs in the town of Markaba, and 3 martyrs in the town of Kfar Kila, in addition to 3 martyrs in the town of Adaisseh.”

On Tuesday morning, Lebanese began returning to their destroyed border villages accompanied by the Lebanese army, after the enemy authorities withdrew their forces from the south of the country, maintaining their occupation of five strategic points.

The enemy forces committed, during the past 24 hours, 8 new violations of the ceasefire agreement, including the flight of warplanes and the bombing of houses.

At dawn on Tuesday, the enemy forces withdrew from the areas they reoccupied after October 7, 2023 in southern Lebanon, in accordance with the ceasefire and truce understandings in Lebanon. The enemy army announced on Monday that its forces will remain in 5 “strategic points” inside Lebanon.
